The Edge of Tomorrow

Standing On the edge of tomorrow

Not quite there but soon it will follow

Not like all the noise today

Restless mankind rock and sway

Taking unsuspecting lives as it goes

Trampling underneath their angry toes

Tomorrow is not just another day

As most people are heard to say

A ray of sun will rise above

When the one true God of love

Carries us to the other side

From today’s ugly hateful, ride

The edge of tomorrow

Still holds many sorrows

But I see the light of day

When God will have his way

Yes, Tomorrow’s will always be

But without the restless sea

A thousand years just as one day

when Paradise will pave the way
