Prairies
are enormous stretches of flat grassland you can see

moderate temperatures, moderate rainfall, and very few trees

When people talk about the prairie, they are referring to the golden, wheat-covered land

it’s one of the rarest and most endangered ecosystems in the world untouched by man

An area still left unplowed is in the rocky and hilly region of Kansas called the Flint Hills

From the highway Look out your window you’ll see hay bails in the field

for the tall grasses to reach their maximum height it takes all season

which differ each season and are dictated by rainfall that’s the reason

The tall grasses grow through the spring and summer

It continues to grow until September or October

Just a view out your window makes a lifelong memory as you go

Watching golden wheat as it grows then turned into ton hay bales row after row
