The path before me in the hollow of the woods
Is a calming walk I’ll remember forever as I should
Your view is the steps in front of you
And the scenery you pass as you walkthrough
The feelings it evokes is like a river grand
Where the sky meets the soft brown sand
The vibrant but subtle colors of the leaves
Can cause contentment or make you grieve
A pop of yellow-orange and gold
Simple creation a beauty to behold
The path you travel should install much hope
The cramped path between the woods help me cope
I never look behind me as I venture forward with my face
scanning the scene, I slow my pace to enjoy the limited space
Of the walk in the hollows of inspiring deep woods
Between giant Oaks that offer solitude as it should
