Walk a Winding Road

When your road is winding and long
Take steps slowly and enjoy its song

Look up and down and all around
Take in the scenery and soothing sounds

Some days we are a lonely soul
Hoping to find happiness, our goal

Your Feet stir up dust as you walk
Content to listen to animal talk

Tree frogs, crickets, and birds singing
A crescendo of voices, happiness bringing

On a long winding road
I will lighten my load

Traveling along life’s winding path
The place to Leave behind anger and wrath

If you only take a walk in your mind
Peace and contentment are what you’ll find
