Wildflowers TICKSEED🌼
I picked a lot of flowers when I was a small child
you could find them everywhere because they grew wild

they were as simple looking as they could be
until you saw them growing on a hill wide as the sea

Tickseed wildflowers were their real name
being tough as nails were there claim to fame

she’s the hardiest girl you’ll ever see
Whorl tickseed is from the sunflower family

cheerfully yellow flowers bloom from summer to fall
swaying in the breeze like she’s ten feet tall

They may only be called just some ugly wildflowers
But when they stand together they illuminate such power

From the sunflower family
