The Willows in Wintertime

Anyone that knows me knows I love a Willow
like no other tree, the Willow is the total show

Whether In the summer breeze
Or even a cold December freeze

The willow tree displays the most
For hummingbirds, it’s the kindest host

When I was a young girl, I had no better guard
Then hiding under the willow at the corner of our yard

Lifes struggles seemed to float away
As I pondered life, watching branches sway

The willow tree in the wintertime is a most
welcome view
She goes out with the same beauty until her springtime

limbs renew
