You hear the arrival of the passenger train Like music to a beat
Chugging up the rails, you feel pounding under your feet
They are transporting people along a railroad line.
Everyone who gets aboard experiences a moment in time
coaches and carriages now become filled
The view out the window seats causes hearts to be stilled
Trains travel between many Stations or depots
where passengers may board or disembark as the train slows
Some passenger trains travel both long-distance and short
Rows of bags stacked up in a compartment port
The final destination of people as they travel
Is never sure; sometimes, lives unravel
Life is like that passenger train with its many compartments and coaches
People are coming and going but unexpectedly, death approaches
Slowly carried off at the next available stop
From the sleeper carriage, now an unscheduled drop
The train moves on down the track people come and go
Original destinations may not work out; no one ever knows
