The Cowboy Face

The Look of a Cowboys weathered face

His outdoor lifelines are easy to trace

Dusty trails in summertime

Winter shivers down his spine

There’s a map on a cowboys face

Every line and wrinkle is a time and a place

Cowboys are the backbone of western life

Sometimes too busy to find a sweet wife

Ropes and Lassos and well-oiled saddles

Preparing their way for daily battles

A Little dog races at his side

As the cowboy starts his winding ride

Checking fences and rescuing little moos

So the ranchers stock he doesn’t loose

Technology will never change

The cowboys ride across the range

There are things in life you just can’t change

That’s The Cowboy riding the open range
