Summers End

The sultry days of summer wind down
Leaves lying brown on the moist ground

The subtle green hues
They drowned out the blues

Now only soft oranges and red
Shouting out loud beauty is up ahead

The colors of the leaves of fall take up a country mile
Your eyes take in colors, and you feel your mouth smile

All the vibrant leaves softly falling down
Covering the ground without saying a sound

Summer End begins, and now fall sets in
The show is an art to soothe my heart I call that a win
