Stagnant

When you find your beach
Practice what you preach

Your beach holds your views
But never your shoes

Plant your feet in the sand
Look beyond where you stand

The ocean sedates
But time never waits

Your comfortable spot
Is what you sought

But if you stand still
You soon lose all will

Determinations now gone
But so is your song

Visit your beach if you must
But don’t stay too long you will rust

To find the sweet song that you lost
You’ll have to move along
no matter what the cost
