New baby squirrels running chasing
popping out from behind trees, racing
round and round
they are up then down
scattering acorns on the ground
of mother squirrels newly found
learning lessons mother teaches
things they need when her age they reach
life a circle of regeneration
Isn’t it beautiful God’s creation
Design around me everywhere
animals play, without a care
as I watch them playing now
I find it peaceful and calming somehow
Baby squirrels round and round they go
I love watching them as they put on a show
