Silver Lining

Dark clouds pass by and block the sun

Causing difficult days for everyone

Never feel hopeless or give in to complaining

Disturbing times can be compassion training

I’ll say this, take it for what it is worth

For a silver lining, you need to search

Under the cloud with the silver lining

We find relief from grumbling and whining

Try to find the good side of a bad event

Perhaps the reason is it was heaven sent

The sun will come out and at the edge of every dark cloud

You’ll find that silver lining it’s always there to be found
