Seasons

I’m looking at the flowers by the field
spinning, spinning,
trying not to yield

The wind is
Blowing, blowing
Them away

It seems like beauty always goes away

I’m not sure why it makes me sad at all
The winds are bringing in a colorful fall

The leaves always ignite something in me
There is magic in the colors that I’ll see

The colors of the leaves are burning red
Then yellow, orange, and purple glow instead

Falling, falling
Leaves swiftly float down

Tumbling, tumbling,
Flying all around

Soon the snow will cover everything
A blanket of white, all glistening

Twinkle, twinkle
In the night

Sparkle, sparkle
Lights bright white

Then excitement will usher in the spring
Dancing, dancing
Tulips it will bring

I’m looking at the flowers by the field
spinning, spinning,
trying not to yield
