Prairie Dancer

As your riding past miles and miles of open land

Be sure to take the time to catch the Prairie grand

Keep your eyes wide open, you just might catch a glimpse

Liquid gold growing right up close to the old wire fence

She starts her show when she’s fully awake

without fail, your breath she’s guaranteed to take

Dressed to the nines in golden petals of eight

A backdrop of an open prairie wide without a gate

She’ll dance her stem off right in front of you

So sit right by your window to get a private view
