Muddy Creek

Take me back to muddy Creek
where I could lay out on the rocks and think

my feet are in in the water and they dangle there
I had nowhere to be So I really didn’t care

There is no one talking in my ear
Only myself and nature out here

I never get bored or lonely at Muddy Creek
There’s a spring nearby if I need a drink

There are blackberries for picking on the vine
When I’m hungry I’ll eat some and be fine

The Memories I have of the past
Are like a river that flows too fast

Time stands still for none of us
Make your memories before they rust

Muddy Creek was my favorite place
When chores were done that’s where I’d race

Always on an adventure each A new one to see
Muddy Creek is where life was good for me
