Make a Memory

Grab the memory in front of you-before today is through
Your on to life’s endeavors tomorrow making something new

Take the time to stop and stare
Look details over everywhere

You’ll grasp to remember, years down the road
When time takes its toll and details erode

A deep impression to the head and heart
In future years will be hard to shake apart

When I see the memory in a photo, there on my wall
Beautiful Details tumble out, all its memories free fall

because I took the time way back when
To make a lasting memory And safely lock within

So grab a memory, of that special occasion
One you can recall even when your aging
