Look Up

Sitting quietly in the
shadows of the morning,

Watching the stars
Lights as they are blinking

No people sounds; most tucked in tight
Waiting for the alarm of light

A masterpiece in front of me
No paintbrush stroke could ever free

The images across this dark sky
brings such contentment; it makes me sigh

Our Grand Creator cannot hide
His fingerprints show through earth-wide

As I look up, I feel the need
To drop my eyes and my heart feed

To thank my God for all he has done
For all humankind, yes, everyone
