Listening

Time for sitting in porch chairs
The birds chattering sounds fills the air

Mr. Woodpecker drumming a sound
Like a jackhammer to hard ground

Nature is around fulfilling their acts
I sit and ponder the nature facts

They’re not late always work hard
Decoration for greenish yards

As I listen to their nature voices
I don’t envy any time chasing choices

Sit and listen, don’t let it pass you by
It’s what the doctor orders to take away sighs

Natures a buzz, oh the songs they sing
I’m listening for the smiles they bring
