Watching June bugs on a warm summer night
They hit the window pane as they dance to the light
on a lazy June bug night
They’ll flap two sets of sturdy wings
As you quietly rock on your front porch swing
Listening to the music of their flapping wings sing
What a lazy June bug night
she wears herself out just buzzing around
when she tires out, and she’s belly up on the ground
No more dancing now. She won’t make a sound
On this lazy June bug night
