I want a house on a hillside
Where I can wake up and just look outside
Nothing marring the beauty before me
Land and leafy trees aplenty to see
Blues and greens everywhere, and at the foothill
playing in the water is the green Duckbills
The ponds so clear it looks like a sheet of glass
Squirrels chase each other racing up on the grass
The Sweet Sound of the cooing morning doves
As they meet up with each other in the treetop above
The sounds of the mama whippoorwill in the valley wide
Beconing her babies to leave their nest and take flight
It’s a paradise where the seeds that we sow
have God’s blessing, in abundance, they’ll grow
If you close your eyes, can’t you see it before you
It’s very close at hand, you’ll see it come true
There will be no end to all the things we can do
Looking from the hillside of our paradise view
