Falls Song

When fall arrives
Leaves take a dive

Billowing colors fly everywhere
County fair smells linger in the air

A refreshing inhale of the cool breeze
It stirs up dust and causes a sneeze

I love when fall comes around
Piling up leaves on the ground

Porch, rockers creaking everywhere,
Animals scurrying here and there

I would enjoy fall all year long
Others love their summer songs

Those winter watchers love to sit and stair
I’m not too fond of winter; it seems so bare

Today I’ll savor the marching in of fall
With a few leafy pictures so later I can recall
