A cowboy’s best friend was his clothes
he wore them on long dusty roads
There’s sweat and dust

every Cowboy knows
the importance of his clothes
he invests in the best cotton shirt
its easier to remove daily dirt
his pants were wool to keep warm
especially in the cold or rainstorms
his vest always had deep pockets
holding tobacco or his sweethearts’ locket
perhaps some batwing chaps
They helped protect leather pants
the Cowboy’s life was grueling each day
not too much time for shopping or play
so, today the Cowboy style still stays
