Clocks

The hands of the clock reach for every moment in front of it

There’s no going back to try and catch lost hours, and yet

One day those hands will be no more

Time will not matter, no more clock stores

Time will last forever onward to the years

When all death and sorrows, yes, and even fears

It will disappear forever. No looking back to those days

The time that caused so much pain, never in the way

The cruelty of Aging will be a thing of the past

Forward moving only to days when life will last

You’ll look in the mirror on the first day of real life

The worry is gone, no wrinkles, and your body is free of strife

No reason to ever look to the past; bad memories are gone forever

Times hands are in front of you in perfect health,

That’s how time now is measured
