Calm Seas Ahead

Some days the seas we sail are rough

We question at the time if we’ll be tough enough

The strength will have to come from inside

The oceans deep, there’s no place to hide

There’s pitching and pounding; you can hear it in your ears

as you feel the waters spray, you experience jolts of fear

Where will you “heave to”‘ can you stay in front of the storm

When life’s storms blindsight you and change up the norm

The world is like the ocean wide

sometimes calm, sometimes a rough ride

Choose your course and navigate carefully

Stay ahead of life’s storms, trust in God fully

One day all waters will smoothly flow

Calm sailing conditions finally, We’ll know
