Butterfly High

Real Life

I will take butterflies and flowers
Over mansions and high towers

Open fields where wildflowers grow
A tiny little garden I can hoe

The sounds of the songbirds
Tree frogs croaking heard

Blue skies that appear endless
The Honeysuckle smell tickles my senses

The noises around me only sedate
Unlike man’s on my nerves, grate

Find your corner of security
The one that’s free and healthy

I enjoy my afternoon butterfly high
I wait with my camera for them
to
fly
