Rhythmic Stories September 8, 2023

Blue is just a color

When the roses are in bloom, they wash away my gloom.

When the Hummingbird flies

Inside my heart, I sigh

When the squirrels are chasing

tails in the air, racing.

I hear the turtle doves COO,

It’s a sad little blue,

That seems to melt my heart through.

When the leaves sway and rock

They take away all time clocks

Their motion and swaying

It’s as if they are playing

It’s the little things in life

that erase daily strife.

Look at life around us and see

It can set your heart free.

Sit back and let nature erase your blues.

It’s your decision, so choose

But, If you close the blue

door,

you’ll loose
