🦉 OWL FOWL

Silent predators of the night
Lanky looking with a face all white

Roosting in quiet places during the day
hunting at the night, that’s just his way

His feathers are adapted for silent flight
He sneaks up on his prey, who puts up no fight

H makes a soft eerie hooting sound
That’s the only way he can be found

He’s called the wise old owl for a reason
father of knowledge is what his name means

Owls are said to hoot when someone tries to take
The old oak tree where they’ve already put their stake

The Owl gets excited when the sun goes down
That’s his favorite time to go out and play around
