Unspoken

Speech is silver; silence is golden
Life slides along days unfolded

With Words not spoken
Our hearts get broken

A challenge to keep thoughtless words inside
But it’s better for me if comments I hide

So many things left unsaid
Banging inside my heart and my head

silently I will continue to march on
Plant a smile on my face, so we are one

Never letting the ugly words out
They will only cause sorrow and doubt

So, Fill up your cup of life
With love, not envy and strife

We are the keepers of our speech
Our goal, another’s heart to reach
