Things Are Looking Up

No clouds in the sky
In heavens ceiling-high

unseasonally warm today
I still go out to play

There’s blue as I look past the trees
No envy or strife or ugly do I see

so, smile and don’t feel down
life is too good to frown

All will be fair one day soon
Gods promised as fixed as the moon

So, please take a look through his eyes
envision the promised paradise

Happy tears, we will cry
When we no longer sigh

Until then, we can get by
