Smile

What put that smile on your face

A memory of another time and place

Put all hasty negative words away

Close your mouth and keep them at bay

Your words and thoughts belong to you

So, watch what you say and what you do

Look hard to find something good

It will bring you peace as it should

Let a smile rest on your face

Don’t let another erase

A smile will carry you through

It gathers true friends for you

The days may not always bring good

So, Let a smile brighten your mood

If you Pass a smile along

It can be a someone else’s song

Try it, and you can’t go wrong
