Open the Door

She couldn’t get out the door

It had never locked her out before

Now it just wouldn’t open

She tried and tried but finally

           stopped hoping

If she gives up and quits

Depression prevails over wit

Your attitude unlocks the door

Get up and pull some more

That door will unlock for you

So, open and leave the blues

Don’t lay there wallowing in self-pity

It only brings down your city

In the end, you will find

The right attitude of mind

Is the key you’ve been missing

So don’t sit just wishing

Pick yourself up off the floor

Get up and open the door

Don’t sit there and bawl

Even if you have to crawl

Get up and OPEN THE 🔑 DOOR
