A Windy October day

On a windy October day
I was almost blown away

But the oak tree nearby
Caught my eye, and I sighed

I hugged it real tight
The wind was a fright
I hung on to the Oak and put up a fight

But the wind finally won out
And it threw me all about

First I was here then I was there
And in the end, I didn’t even care

The lesson I learned today

you really should stay inside
Maybe even hide

on a windy October day

Stay Inside
