Music Under The Elm

Under the canopy of the big elm tree

There’s excitement, a buzz in front of me

Playful butterflies like kites in the skies

Filling the longing in my eyes

Dancing bees looking for plants

Surrounded by a troup of army ants

Croaking bullfrogs steals the show

With A low sounding tuba blow

The crickets Moroccos start to sound

All in one accord, they get loud

Mrs. Robin flies in from out of town

Sits patiently on a branch, not making a sound

Under the canopy of the luxuriant elm tree

Early in the morning is the best place for me
