Muddy Puddles

Who doesn’t love a rainy day

I let my little ones go out and play

If they come back muddy that’s ok

It washes off it’s just muddy clay

The smile a mile wide on their dirty faces

Always get them my warm embraces

When I was a kid once I loved the mud too

All my mom said was please take off your shoes

Muddy puddles don’t bother me

I say put out the kids and let them be
