Morning’s Solitude

There’s something to be said about the solitude of early morning hours
As you sit and watch the sun and morning glories openly flower

The birds are talking about it just as well
They are whistling a happy tune, can’t you tell

As the quiet creeps slowly but forcefully in
While you slowly sip your coffee, you start to think of when

You remember the best experience you ever made
Perhaps it was when your future was laid

It’s moments like this we are born to treasure
If we grab hold quickly we’re sure to feel pleasure

Take time to surround yourself with nature’s sounds
When early morning solitude is sure to be found
