Keep Looking Ahead

That day will come as a thief in the night
Not when we expect it but when it is right

A world in chaos we inherited from the first man
Who gave up paradise, God’s original plan

A moment of independence is all he attained
Ungrateful and disloyal was his only claim to fame

Our grand creator lovingly made the way out
For earnest hearted humans with faith and no doubts

We Will see the paradise, keep looking ahead
Jesus paid the price, balancing the scales instead

The gauntlet satan hurled down with the accusation
That all men are selfish and value only their station

Test them out and see if you don’t believe me
Take all they have and all they’ll ever be

Watch them turn their face from you
Except perhaps a certain meek few

When everything’s all said and done
look straight ahead to the only one

God will erase all bad and heal faithful mankind
There will be No more ugliness thats all been left behind

Look straight ahead for that beautiful day
When God takes over and has his final say

The paradise will erase all mankind’s former days
Bringing glory to God, who is righteous in all his ways
