Hillside Hoping

I will see you again
My friend
So much love saved for when

We meet again in a peaceful scene
When life is a happier scheme

Young enough to run the steepest hillside
No doors in our house, and the windows open wide

We will jump on horses and ride everywhere
Stay out all night, and watch the stars. No one cares

Real-life starting anew
Together with a scenic view

I will look for you and patiently wait
In a field of flowers by your favorite gate
