HELICONIA (Lobster Claw)

Under the colorful canopy of the Heliconia 

Lives a family of seven little green frogs sitting as they own her

Heliconias are called Lobster claw plants

Just look at her stems, you’ll figure that out

From Australia to most of the coastal regions

You’ll see her blooming bright colors through  seasons

Her red ginger leaves can be toxic to some

But she’s friendly to the Green family she’s their chum

It’s amazing how nature can be a protector

Or even a menace to a unwelcome defector

The harmony between the Heliconia to the Green Family

Exist because it was designed so, don’t you see

Once pollywogs,  now little tree frogs,  secure under their canopy

Of the Heliconia flower with her red lobster claws as it was meant to be
