Falls Last Dance

I saw the beauty of the leaf as
it floated by

it was so unique it caught my eye

The blaze of color in just one leaf
A fantastic sight beyond belief

It always happens when the season changes
Turning green leaves to fiery orange blazes

My favorite scene from year to year
You see them dance as they float near

The brilliant orange yellows and-fiery reds
They always turn so many heads

My rocker moves back and forth
Comforting sound on my front porch

I sit rocking and watch the colorful show
Leaves fly all around as the wind blows

They take flight so fast
I wish that they could last

Sadness comes when the trees are bare
No more colorful show out there
