Merry go round beautiful sound
Riding high below the blue sky
Cimarron Rose and Bella Blue
Blazing colors with iron horseshoes
Bright smiling faces
Holding poles fixed in places
Feet firmly planted in little brown stirrups
Giggles and laughter when the horses giddyup
Calico Sally seems to always dilly dally
Her focus is on that green fertile valley
The music slows to a halt and the riders climb down
They grudgingly slide off And look up with a frown
See ya next roundup says ticket taker Dan to sad faces
As he loads the next riders that are taking their places
The corral gate is where the parents wait
Watching as little ones are slow to vacate
The music starts anew and-a child’s heard to say
Next time when I come I’m riding the Buckaroo Bay
