Boots and Spurs

Spurs and boots
Cowboy hoots

Cowboys Saturday night
Drinks and barroom fights

Monday morning blues
Pulling on cowboy shoes

Lots of Leather and rawhide
Shouts in the air as they ride

Rounding up little moos
Forgetting Monday morning blues

The boots pointed toes
Helped fit the stirrup holes

Locking the feet in their places
The day would have many races

Spurs would direct his horse
Never to harm the animal, of course

Boots and spurs
Full of prickly burs

Necessary cowboys armor
But it was better than being a farmer
