Don’t Stay and Rust
When you find your beach,
Practice what you preach.
Your beach holds your view,
But never your shoes.
Plant your feet in the sand,
Look beyond where you stand.
The ocean sedates,
But time never waits.
That comfortable spot
Is what you sought.
But if you stand still,
You soon lose all will.
Visit your beach if you must,
But don’t stay and rust.
To find the sweet song that you lost,
You’ll have to move along,
No matter what the cost.
